Samsung is preparing to introduce a new foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Flip 7, in the summer, which will receive some updates compared to its predecessor.
One of the main improvements will be an increase in battery capacity. According to Galaxy Club, the Galaxy Flip 7 will have a battery with a total typical capacity of 4,300 mAh, which is 7.5% more than the previous Galaxy Flip 6 model, which had 4,000 mAh.
This is achieved through the use of two enlarged batteries of 2985 mAh and 1189 mAh, which in total give a nominal capacity of 4174 mAh and a typical capacity of 4300 mAh, while the Flip 6 has a nominal and typical capacity of 3887 and 4000 mAh, respectively.
In addition, the Galaxy Flip 7, according to Android Headlines, will receive an enlarged internal folding display measuring 6.85 inches, which is larger than the 6.7 inches of its predecessor. The external screen will also increase to 4 inches. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, as the use of the Exynos 2500 is currently impossible due to technical limitations.
According to rumors, Samsung plans to keep the starting price at the same level as the Galaxy Flip 6, which could make buying the Galaxy Flip 7 even more attractive.
