Samsung has released a 4G version of the budget smartphone Galaxy A17

Samsung has officially introduced its new budget smartphone, the Galaxy A17 4G. The device is already available in Ukraine, and its price for the model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is 7,599 hryvnias.

The 4G version almost completely repeats the specifications of the Galaxy A17 5G, introduced in early September. The smartphone received the same 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and FHD resolution, 6 GB of RAM, but the MediaTek Helio G99 processor instead of the Exynos 1330.

In addition, the Galaxy A17 4G has a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W charging. At the same time, the smartphone has received protection against water and dust according to the IP54 standard. On the other hand, the A17 4G has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical stabilization, as well as an additional 5 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP macro lens. The front camera here is 13 MP.

The smartphone comes with One UI 7 based on Android 15, but will definitely receive updates to One UI 8 and Android 16 in the future. In total, Samsung promises 6 years of support for the device.
