Red Dead Redemption 2 voice actor hints at imminent Nintendo Switch release 2
Nintendo Switch 2 owners who are fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 may soon find out the long-awaited news. The voice actor of John Marston in Red Dead Redemption 2, Rob Wittoff, has hinted that an important announcement related to this cult Rockstar game will be coming soon. NotebookCheck writes this with reference to Reddit.
During a Red Dead Redemption stream, Wittoff emotionally announced that he had "very exciting news" that he couldn't share yet, but he assured that it would be announced by June 20. The actor added that he "can't think about anything else, especially while playing this game." Although Wittoff didn't elaborate on what exactly he was talking about, it is believed that it has to do with the Red Dead Redemption 2 port to the Switch 2.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been rumored to be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 for a while now. Insider Nate the Hate also said in May that the game would be coming to the Switch 2 "later this year." He said it could happen in late summer or early fall.
Additionally, Rockstar could also likely announce a next-gen game for PS5 and Xbox Series X/Series S, but these are still rumors that have not been officially confirmed yet.
