Razer introduces new HyperFlux V2 mouse pad that can charge the company's wireless mice

- 4 June, 12:05 AM

Razer has announced the HyperFlux V2, a new mouse pad that provides wireless charging for compatible Razer mice. Unlike the previous version of the pad, which only worked with the one Mamba HyperFlux mouse that came with it, the new device supports the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro mice.

The HyperFlux V2 uses a special adapter pad that plugs into the bottom of compatible mice, allowing them to charge continuously while in use. An LED indicator at the top of the pad will indicate the mouse’s battery level by changing colors. Razer offers two options for the HyperFlux V2 surface: a hard surface for smooth, fast movements, and a cloth surface for more precise control.

The mat is priced at $119.99, significantly lower than the previous HyperFlux model, which was bundled with the Mamba mouse for $249.99. In addition to charging the mouse, the mat also acts as a wireless receiver, allowing you to connect Razer mice and keyboards to your PC via HyperSpeed wireless technology, which is faster and more reliable than Bluetooth.

The Razer HyperFlux V2 hard-surface mouse pad is now available, with a cloth version expected later this year.
