Sony has announced the list of games that PS Plus Essential subscribers will receive in August 2025 — Lies of P, Day Z, and My Hero One's Justice 2.
The games will be available for download starting August 5th, and until then you still have time to add July games to your library.
Lies of P | PS5, PS4
One of the best representatives of the souls-like genre, inspired by Carlo Collodi's fairy tale about Pinocchio. The player controls a mechanical doll in the dark city of Krath, uncovering secrets, fighting other dolls and making decisions — to lie or not. The game is distinguished by complex battles, a deep plot, a unique lying system and an atmospheric steampunk setting.
Day Z | PS4
An open-world survival simulator where players fight for their lives in the post-apocalyptic zones of Chernorussia and Livonia, which are overrun by zombies. The main goal is to find food, water, weapons and equipment, interact with other players and fight zombies. The game is characterized by complex mechanics, a realistic atmosphere, intense PvP and PvE, as well as the ability to choose between cooperation and combat with others.
My Hero One's Justice 2 | PS4
A fast-paced 3D fighting game based on the popular anime and manga My Hero Academia. Players take part in spectacular battles, controlling heroes and villains with unique abilities. The game offers an updated roster of characters, an improved combat system, a story mode spanning the events of the anime, and multiplayer battles.
