Ukrainian language learning platform Promova has been named to the World's Top EdTech Companies of 2025, a list of 15 technology companies that are rapidly growing and reimagining the future of education. The list was compiled by TIME magazine in conjunction with analytics company Statista.
The Ukrainian startup receives international recognition for the second time in 2025. In March, Promova was included in the Fast Company Most Innovative Companies ranking, which also included MacPaw, along with Duolingo, Waymo, Notion, NVIDIA, and many others.
"Being among the 15 companies that TIME calls those shaping the future of education is a great honor. It is a signal that what we create resonates not only with millions of users, but also with the global market. We believe that education should adapt to the person, not the other way around - and we really appreciate that this approach is being noticed by experts around the world," says Andriy Skrypnyk, CEO and founder of Promova.
The platform has received awards for its contribution to adaptive, accessible and practical language learning. Promova now has over 20 million users worldwide. The service combines artificial intelligence, expert learning and cultural context.
In particular, Promova offers features such as AI Role Play, which helps improve conversational skills in realistic scenarios, and Dyslexia Mode makes learning easier for neurodivergent users. At the same time, as part of the Future Perfect program, the platform provides free access to learning for all citizens of Ukraine.
