ASUS has officially revealed the specifications of its new ProArt PA32QCV monitor, which is positioned as an alternative to the Apple Studio Display and Pro Display XDR. This monitor is aimed at professionals who work with graphics and color, but it is not designed for a gaming audience.
The model is equipped with a 31.5-inch IPS panel with a high resolution of 6016×3884 pixels. Typical brightness is 400 cd/m², and peak for HDR content is up to 600 cd/m². Contrast ratio is 1500:1. The manufacturer claims support for a number of color profiles, coverage of 98% of the DCI-P3 space, and an average color deviation of Delta E < 2. The monitor has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 5 ms (G2G).
Connectivity includes 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports (with daisy chaining support), DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB-A and USB-C. The monitor has a built-in KVM switch that allows you to switch between two connected laptops or PCs using a single keyboard and mouse.
The ProArt PA32QCV supports tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, has an ambient light sensor, and supports USB PD charging for accessories. The company has not yet announced pricing or availability.
