Nothing introduces full-size Headphone (1) headphones with up to 80 hours of battery life
Nothing, along with its flagship smartphone Phone (3), has introduced its first full-size headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1). The new product is aimed at the enthusiast audience and offers a number of features typical of the premium segment.
The headphones are equipped with 40 mm dynamic drivers, developed with the participation of the British audio company KEF. The frequency range of the device is from 20 Hz to 40 kHz, the impedance is 15 Ohms. There are 4 microphones for making calls, and 2 more are responsible for noise cancellation (ANC) at a level of up to 42 dB. There is also a transparent mode for listening to environmental sounds.
Nothing claims that these headphones can provide up to 80 hours of music playback without ANC when using the AAC codec, up to 55 hours with the LDAC codec, or up to 35 hours with ANC enabled. As for phone calls, the talk time can reach 57 hours. Such autonomy is possible thanks to the built-in 1040 mAh battery. Its full charge takes about 2 hours, and a 5-minute charge is enough for 5 hours of listening to music without ANC.
The model supports Bluetooth 5.3, but in addition to wireless connectivity, playback via USB-C and 3.5 mm audio are also supported. As for other features, there is simultaneous connection with two devices, connection via Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, as well as low audio latency in game mode.
Nothing Headphone (1) is compatible with iOS and Android devices via the Nothing X app. The price of the new product in Europe will be 299 euros. The model will be available in black and white.
