Porsche introduces updated eBike Sport 2025 electric bike

Porsche has announced (via NotebookCheck) the fifth generation of its eBike Sport 2025 electric bike, which is already available in North America and Europe.

Created in collaboration with motorcycle brand Rotwild and designed by FA Porsche, the new eBike Sport has received a number of updates that make it ideal for both urban commuting and light trails.

This 12-speed e-bike features an ultra-light carbon frame, available in three sizes (S, M, L), and weighs an average of 21.6 kg. It has a Shimano EP801 motor with up to 85 Nm of torque and a battery with a capacity of 504 Wh for size S and 630 Wh for sizes M and L. The novelty also received a Fox Float 34 Performance Elite front fork with 120 mm of travel and a Fox Float DPS rear shock absorber (100 mm).

Other upgrades include a carbon handlebar for precise control, Shimano XT Di2 shifting, Magura MT7 disc brakes and Xentis Mount-X five-spoke wheels. The bike is equipped with a modern lighting system with a Supernova Starstream X Pro headlight with up to 1000 lumens and a Topeak BeSeen rear light. Speed and battery information are displayed on the Shimano SC-EM800 display, and additional features are available via the Shimano E-Tube Ride app, which works with iOS and Android.

The eBike Sport 2025 is priced at $10,920 in the US and €9,900 in Europe. In the US, only the M and L models are currently offered, while in Europe all three sizes are available.
