Pokémon releases life-size Eeveelution plush toys

The Pokémon Company has announced (via NotebookCheck) the launch of a series of life-sized plush toys dedicated to Eevee and its evolutions, as part of its Year of Eevee campaign.

The first wave includes Eevee, Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon, with other evolutions like Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon coming later this year.

The toys are made to the sizes listed in the Pokedex. For example, Eevee is about 40 centimeters tall, Flareon is 63 centimeters, Vaporeon is 68 centimeters, and Jolteon is the largest in the first batch at 81 centimeters tall. Made of polyester fiber and polyurethane, these toys are recommended for children ages 8 and up.

Prices vary depending on size: Eevee costs around $27 in Japan and $40 in the US, while the evolutions are priced at $306 in Japan and $400 in the US. A set of all the toys will cost around $2,500.

Eevee will be available for purchase in June, and Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon will be available in November. Pre-orders for the other evolutions will begin this summer.
