In addition to the flagship POCO F7 Ultra, equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Chinese company also introduced a slightly cheaper POCO F7 Pro with a 6000 mAh battery for $499.
The new POCO smartphone is essentially the Redmi K80 under a new shell. It has a slightly smaller, but still large 6,000 mAh battery, which the company says will provide 14.5 hours of continuous operation. The manufacturer also says that the smartphone will be able to play videos for 20 hours, provide navigation for 12 hours, and provide up to 8 hours of PUBG gaming. At the same time, the smartphone supports 90W charging.
In addition, the POCO F7 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. Unlike the older Ultra model, the Pro does not use the company's own protective glass, but Gorilla Glass 7i.
POCO F7 Pro, like the F7 Ultra, is also equipped with a VisionBoost D7 graphics chip, which allows for resolution upscaling and stable frame rates in games. In addition, this chip provides support for HDR content in applications such as YouTube and Netflix. At the same time, the smartphone also has Surge G1 chips for battery and Surge P3 for charging tracking. The performance is responsible for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and 12 GB of RAM paired with 256 or 512 GB of storage.
Moving on to the cameras, the POCO F7 Pro is equipped with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical image stabilization. The main camera is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 20MP front camera.
POCO has equipped the new smartphone with HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, which, among other things, has a set of tools based on HyperAI and Google Gemini artificial intelligence. The company promises 4 years of operating system updates and 6 years of security updates. The device has IP68 water and dust protection.
The POCO F7 Pro comes in black, silver, and blue colors and comes with 12/256GB or 12/512GB storage options. The 265GB version is priced at $499, while the 512GB model is priced at $549.
