A leaked image from @evleaks shows that the Google Pixel 10 will support Qi2 magnetic wireless charging. This will be the first full integration of Qi2 with built-in magnets in Pixel smartphones, similar to Apple's MagSafe, writes The Verge.
A photo posted by an insider shows a base model of the Pixel 10 in bright blue with wireless charging attached directly to the case. This suggests that there are magnets built into the smartphone itself, and not just in the case, as is implemented in recent Samsung flagships.
The charger is likely part of the PixelSnap accessories that were previously featured in leaks from Android Authority.
As for Qi2, it's a new magnetic-alignment wireless charging standard developed with Apple. It's currently only officially supported by one Android smartphone, the HMD Skyline. The Pixel 10 is expected to be the first mainstream Android device to fully support Qi2, which doesn't require a special case.
The insider also published images of the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2A headphones, which confirm previous rumors about an update to the Pixel lineup in the fall.
