Two months after the announcement: Google finally starts selling the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Buds 2a
Google held a presentation in August, where it introduced new smartphones and other products. Most of the new products went on sale almost immediately, but the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold smartphone and Pixel Buds 2a headphones have only become available for purchase now.
As previously reported, supply chain issues are the likely cause of the sales delay. In the case of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, this was due to a new hinge, while the reasons for the headphone delay remain unknown.
As a reminder, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first foldable smartphone to be fully water and dust resistant. It has already appeared on the Google Store and costs from $1,799 in the US and €1,899 in Europe.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is powered by a Tensor G5 processor, runs Android 16, has 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of built-in storage. Its foldable 8-inch LTPO OLED display supports 120Hz, while the external screen is 6.4" with 1080p resolution and the same refresh rate.
The device is equipped with a 5015 mAh battery with support for 30 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging. The smartphone has five cameras: a 48 MP main camera, a 10.8 MP telephoto lens, a 10.5 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 10 MP front cameras.
As for the Pixel Buds 2a, these are TWS headphones with a Tensor A1 chip, IP54 protection and spatial sound, which for the first time in the A series received active noise cancellation (ANC). Their autonomy reaches 7 hours, and with a charging case - up to 20 hours. The model is also already available in the company's official store. The cost of the new product is $ 129 in the US and € 149 in Europe.
