As the Pixel 10 series' launch date approaches, more and more information about it is appearing online. According to new leaks, the base version of the Google Pixel 10 will likely be deprived of some important features that are provided for older models of this line. This is reported by Android Headlines.
In particular, it is reported that there is no vapor chamber, an element that contributes to more effective cooling of the device. Considering that a similar situation was with the Pixel 9, this may raise concerns about the stability of the device's performance under load.
Another possible limitation is the lack of Wi-Fi 7 support, although the previous model had this feature. It is also expected that the base Pixel 10 will not receive improved video stabilization and the "Ultra Res Zoom" feature - an updated version of Super Res Zoom, which should provide a much greater digital zoom range.
At the same time, a positive point is the presence of a triple camera, although with presumably smaller sensors than in the previous model. As for the design, the case will have matte side frames and a glossy back panel.
By the way, Android Headlines recently also revealed new details about the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. According to the publication, this smartphone will receive a thinner, improved hinge and protection against dust and water according to the IP68 standard.
The Pixel 10 lineup is expected to be unveiled on August 20th, with sales starting on August 28th.
