- 7 August, 03:30 PM

The Browser Company has launched a Pro subscription for its new browser Dia , which actively uses artificial intelligence features. The subscription costs $20 per month. It gives unlimited access to AI tools, including chat and "skills." This is the company's first step towards monetizing its products, writes TechCrunch.

With the introduction of the Pro plan , free users will see limits on their use of AI. While the exact limits were not specified, CEO Josh Miller noted that the browser will remain free for those who use AI only a few times a week. In the future, the company plans to add different subscription levels , ranging from $5 to several hundred dollars per month.

Users learned about the paid plan earlier when a page appeared on the site, but it was quickly removed. Now the subscription function is already available in Dia's settings.

As a reminder, The Browser Company launched a beta test of Dia in June of this year. Currently, the browser only works on Macs with M-series chips and macOS 14+.
