Philips has introduced a 5K monitor with the model number 27E3U7903, aimed at professional users. It has a wide range of features and a design in the style of Apple Studio Display.
The monitor uses a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels, a refresh rate of 70 Hz, and a brightness of 500 nits. It also has a claimed color accuracy of Delta E < 2 and 99.5% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space.
The Philips new product also features a smart KVM switch, USB Type-C and Type-A ports, including Thunderbolt 4, which supports charging up to 96W, as well as HDMI 2.1. The device also supports daisy-chaining, which can be used to connect a second monitor.
Finally, the new Philips monitor is DisplayHDR 600 certified and features PowerSensor 2 technology, which should help save energy when users leave their workstations. It also has built-in 5W stereo speakers and a 5-megapixel webcam.
The Philips 27E3U7903 is already available in some European countries for €1090.
