Pebble Time 2 smartwatch to launch in December 2025
Pebble, which returned in January 2025 under the name RePebble, but was recently able to regain its original name, has officially unveiled the new Pebble Time 2 smartwatch, which will be available to buyers later this year.
The Pebble Time 2 was first revealed back in March, but the design was still being finalized back then, while now the watch is almost ready, except for the colors that are still being chosen. In addition, Pebble founder Eric Migikowski revealed the specifications of the new product in a blog post.
Migikovsky said that the watch will use 316 grade stainless steel for the frame and screw-fastened back cover, as well as for the side buttons. Meanwhile, the Pebble Time 2 will have RGB lighting, a second microphone, and a compass.
It was also previously revealed that the watch will have a 1.5-inch e-paper color touchscreen display, sensors for measuring heart rate, sleep and step tracking, a built-in speaker, and protection against water and dust, but without a defined standard yet. The built-in battery will provide up to 30 days of operation.
The Pebble Time 2 is currently available for pre-order on the site, which is still called RePebble, for $225. The first shipments of the watch will begin in December 2025.
