Following the announcement of watches: Pebble brings back its own app store
Smartwatch maker Pebble, which returned in early 2025 to introduce its new watches, is now also relaunching its own app store, company founder Eric Migicovsky announced in a blog post.
The store is already live at apps.repebble.com. Users can choose from a variety of watch faces and a variety of apps for different activities. The store features both original solutions created for the first Pebble devices and new developments from the enthusiast community that have appeared since 2016.
As Migicovsky notes, all apps available in the store are compatible with the new Pebble watches, but some may not work due to invalid settings pages, outdated APIs, etc. He also hopes that with the release of new watches, old developers will return to save their old creations.
For now, enthusiasts can continue to develop watch faces and apps for the new watch, as Pebble provides updated tools for this. They recently ported the old SDK from Python2 to Python3 and added a web tool similar to CloudPebble, which allows you to create apps directly in the browser. In addition, the company has opened up the possibility of using artificial intelligence for development.
In addition to this, Pebble has introduced a new mobile application for Android and iOS, and although it is not 100% ready yet, those interested can already download it via the official website.
