Paradox Interactive has officially unveiled Europa Universalis V. The game was developed over five years by Paradox Tinto, drawing on community feedback and the experience of 25 years of series development.
Europa Universalis V will receive significant changes, including a new map with a more accurate projection, a campaign start date of 1337, and expanded population, economic, diplomatic, and military systems. Players will be able to manage any community in the world - from empires to local chieftains.
Other features include:
- detailed demographics with cultural and religious tensions;
- thousands of historical events that change depending on the game situation;
- an economy based on production, trade, and the needs of the population;
- flexible formation of the state model - from centralized monarchies to federal entities;
- the impact of war on the population, new opportunities for diplomacy and alliances.
The game will be released on PC only on Steam. The release date is not yet known.
