Oppo showed in a new video how durable the hinge of the ultra-thin Find N5 is

Oppo, which introduced the ultra-thin folding smartphone Find N5 in February, decided to demonstrate its reliability.

The new video shows four unfolded devices supporting a weight of 50 kg. This test was conducted in controlled conditions, where the smartphones were positioned to ensure maximum structural strength. The video also features a person sitting on a swing, which also illustrates the durability of the hinge.

The Find N5 has been certified IPX8 and IPX9, further confirming its resistance to immersion in water and water jets, demonstrating that foldable smartphones are becoming increasingly robust.

However, the device's availability remains limited — it is currently only sold in a few countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
