OpenAI is considering introducing new products — specialized artificial intelligence agents that will be available on a subscription basis. The cost of such agents could reach $20,000 per month.
As TechCrunch reports, citing The Information, the agents will be focused on a variety of tasks, including sorting and ranking sales leads, as well as software development.
For example, an agent for highly skilled workers will cost about $2,000 per month, and an agent for programmers will cost $10,000. The most expensive option, priced at $20,000, will be designed to support doctoral-level research. However, it is not yet known when these agents will be launched and which customers they will be available to.
OpenAI is actively looking for new sources of revenue, having lost about $5 billion last year. OpenAI investor SoftBank has already committed to spending $3 billion on these products by 2025.
