Microsoft accidentally removed Copilot in the latest Windows 11 update

- 17 March, 05:00 PM

After Microsoft released a new monthly update for Windows 11 on March 11, some users noticed that the Copilot app had been removed from their devices. The company confirmed that it is aware of the issue, The Verge reports.

In a support document for the March update, Microsoft said it was aware of an issue with the Copilot app "that may affect some devices." The company said the app's removal and unpinning from the taskbar were random.

Microsoft also announced that it is already working on a fix for this issue and that users who have had the app uninstalled can install it themselves via the Microsoft Store and pin it to the taskbar.

By the way, Microsoft has been working hard to improve the Copilot experience on PCs in recent weeks. The company has introduced an updated native app for Windows 11 instead of a web app, and plans to introduce a new "Tap to Talk" feature that will allow you to quickly launch the chatbot's voice mode.

We remind you that on the eve of Microsoft also introduced the Copilot for Gaming gaming assistant, which can help players find and install games faster, and will also provide them with tips while playing.
