The new Samsung Galaxy Flip 7 could get a major design update, including a larger external display, Android Authority reports. A leak of the One UI 8 firmware has confirmed that Samsung is planning to change the design of the device, making it more similar to the Motorola Razr Plus.
Previously, leaks suggested that the Flip 7's design would remain largely unchanged from the Flip 6, but new renders have revealed that the smartphone will feature a large 4-inch external screen that takes up the entire front of the device, leaving room for just two cameras. New images from the One UI 8 firmware show off the Flip 5, Flip 6, and Flip 7 layouts, confirming the latter's larger display.

Most other specifications are expected to remain the same: a 6.8-inch internal display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
It was previously reported that production of the new Samsung Galaxy Flip 7 and Fold 7 foldable smartphones has already begun and they are expected to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked summer event.
