Samsung Galaxy S22 series starts receiving One UI 7 with Android 15

- 29 April, 03:23 PM

Earlier in April, Samsung resumed the rollout of the One UI 7 update to its devices, and now it has also released it to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, SamMobile reports.

The One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S22 series, which weighs in at 4.4GB, will first be available in South Korea and will be rolled out to other regions over time. To check for the update, head to the Software Update section in Settings.

One UI 7 brings a host of new features to Galaxy devices, including a new Now Bar for easy notification tracking, media control, and more. It also includes updated animations, more customization options, lock screen widgets, redesigned camera controls, and other improvements.

By the way, unlike the latest Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S22 models will not receive all artificial intelligence features and will have some other limitations.

As a reminder, Samsung paused the rollout of One UI 7 in mid-April due to widespread user complaints about unlocking issues. It is currently being rolled out to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, and the company's latest foldable smartphones.
