The Crew 2 will get offline mode by the end of 2025

Ubisoft has shared news about offline modes for The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest. First, by the end of 2025, the company will release the long-awaited mode for the second part, and then for the final game in the series.

The company will conduct closed offline tests among selected players. The first test will take place on April 30, 2025. Players will be selected for it based on their PC builds and community involvement. Console tests will take place at a later date.

Upon release, the offline mode for The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest will be hybrid. Players will be given the option to switch between offline and online if necessary.

As a reminder, Ubisoft is currently engaged in a legal battle with players who complain that the studio shut down The Crew servers in 2023, making it unavailable for play. In the latest wave of court hearings, the French company noted that players had no reason to believe they owned the game.
