NVIDIA delays launch of GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition until end of March

NVIDIA is reportedly delaying the retail launch of its GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition graphics card, as reported by Andreas Schilling, editor-in-chief of German publication HardwareLuxx, citing a letter he received from NVIDIA.

Although the official launch of the GPU was scheduled for tomorrow, March 5, Schilling said that the Founders Edition will only be available at the end of this month. As reported by WccfTech, the reasons for the delay are not disclosed, but previously it was reported about possible technical problems with the performance of the graphics card and limitations in the supply of chips. However, NVIDIA did not officially announce this.

Despite this, reviews of the GeForce RTX 5070 have already been published, and they show performance similar to the RTX 4070 Super. The video card has a suggested retail price of $549, which makes it competitive in its segment.

Additionally, the RTX 5070 will be competing with AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs, which are scheduled to launch on March 6. They have similar specifications and price ranges, creating additional options for buyers.
