NVIDIA releases new Borderlands 4 driver and RTX Remix update
NVIDIA has released GeForce Game Ready 581.29, an update optimized for Borderlands 4, which is due out this week. The company has also updated RTX Remix, giving modders more ways to recreate modern visuals in classic games.
Borderlands 4 will feature DLSS 4 support with Multi Frame Generation, Reflex, and other performance-enhancing features. The driver also adds optimizations for Dying Light: The Beast, which is due out next week. The game will support DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and standard DLSS Frame Generation.
The RTX Remix update makes fire and smoke more realistic and allows you to create particle effects on the level of modern games. Today, more than 165 projects already support RTX Remix. Previously, the company demonstrated the capabilities of the tool using the example of Half-Life 2.
