Adobe has introduced a new free Photoshop app for smartphones that also integrates with the web version. It has received many features for design, editing and even image generation and is now available on iOS. A version for Android will be released later this year.

The updated Adobe Photoshop app for iPhone is now available in the App Store and offers a number of useful features. Users will receive a new design and will be able to combine and edit photos, graphics and images from Adobe Stock. Unlike Photoshop Express, which has been available on smartphones since 2010, the new app includes more tools from the full desktop version.

The free version features precise selection tools, unlimited layers and masks, and users can remove, replace, or change the color of various image elements, as well as features like the Spot Healing Brush and Adobe Firefly generative AI, including Generative Fill and Generative Expand.

For more complex tasks, the mobile app now supports PSD files and allows editing photos from other company services, such as Lightroom. For easy sharing of work, the app supports import and export of high-quality saves.

Along with the release of the new iPhone app, Adobe announced a new subscription plan that will give users access to premium features in the mobile app and additional capabilities for the web version of Photoshop. Users will be able to continue editing their files in the browser, where they will also have access to AI features such as Generate Similar and Reference Image.

Also, with the new subscription plan, users will have access to over 20,000 fonts and additional tools from the full version, such as Object Select, Magic Wand, Remove Tool, and others. In addition, both the web and mobile versions have tools for adjusting transparency, color effects, and blending modes, which allow you to adjust the lightness or darkness of certain areas of the image.

The plan that comes with the mobile app will cost $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year. However, all existing Photoshop subscription plans, including the desktop version, also provide access to the premium features of the mobile app and browser version.
