New leaks have surfaced that reveal design details for the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, including the iPhone 17 Air. Noted insider Sonny Dixon has posted images of device mockups (via The Verge), which are used by accessory makers to prepare for the launch of new smartphones. These mockups confirm that the iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest in the series.
The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch OLED display, placing it between the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in size. The design will feature an ultra-slim body measuring just 5.5mm thick, with thin bezels around the screen, a Dynamic Island notch, and a new camera button. Despite the ultra-slim body, battery life is expected to be on par with other models thanks to improved power efficiency.
The price of the iPhone 17 Air, according to preliminary data, will be around $900. If the model is successful, Apple may consider creating a non-removable iPhone Air in the future.
