Sony is preparing to release a new model of wireless full-size headphones, the WH-1000XM6, which are rumored to return to the foldable design of the WH-1000XM4. The Walkman blog has learned that the manufacturer will also update the headband design, although the ear cups remain unchanged.
According to the latest data, the WH-1000XM6 will go on sale in mid-June, although the official announcement could take place this month, as the Esato blog writes. At the same time, insider Roland Quandt reports a possible price increase for the new model in Europe by about 10% compared to the previous model WH-1000XM5. He also added that the headphones will appear "soon" in gray, black and blue.
Availability may vary by region, so some markets may see it arrive earlier or later. It is expected that the first images of the new WH-1000XM6 may appear soon.
