Microsoft makes Copilot voice mode and Think Deeper feature free

Microsoft has made the Copilot voice mode and Think Deeper feature, which run on OpenAI's o1 model, free.

Think Deeper is designed to analyze complex queries, such as evaluating the pros and cons of major home purchases, taking into account cost and long-term value.

"We are working hard to scale unlimited access to advanced features to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible," Microsoft writes.

Microsoft noted that users may experience interruptions in the operation of these new free Copilot features under heavy usage.

Copilot Pro subscription users will continue to have privileged access to the company's latest AI models during peak loads, as well as new experimental features.
