Nothing held a presentation, where it showed off its new budget smartphone CMF Phone 2 Pro.
One of the smartphone's main upgrades is the 50-megapixel main camera with a large 1/1.57" sensor. It supports 4K video recording (30fps) and has artificial intelligence stabilization.
The Pro model received two more lenses: a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 1/2.88" sensor and 2x focal length, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119.5° viewing angle. The selfie camera remained the same, 16-megapixel. Nothing also expanded the camera's capabilities with interchangeable lenses for macro photography and fisheye.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro screen has become larger — 6.77" with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and HDR10+ support. Brightness reaches 3000 nits. The panel is protected by Panda Glass, and water resistance has been improved to the IP54 standard.
The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset with 10% better CPU and 5% GPU performance compared to the previous generation. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 33 W charging, as well as reverse charging at 5 W. According to the company, the device can withstand up to 22 hours of video playback.
The smartphone runs on Nothing OS 3.2 (Android 15) and will receive three OS updates and six years of security updates. Two memory configurations are available: 8/128 GB or 8/256 GB with support for microSD cards.
The new product also supports NFC for contactless payments, which was missing in the previous model.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro starts at €250/£220 for the 8/128GB model. The 8/256GB version will cost €280/£250. Pre-orders are now available on the official website, with sales starting on May 6.
Macro and fisheye lenses cost €35/£35. A universal case can be purchased for €25/£25, and a wallet/stand for €35/£35.
