Nothing has officially announced its first flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), which is positioned as a competitor to the iPhone 16, Galaxy S25, and Pixel 9.

Nothing Phone (3) has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1260x2800 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen supports HDR10+ and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage (256 or 512 GB).

The camera system includes three 50-MP modules: the main (OV50H, 1/1.3", OIS), ultra-wide (JN1, 1/2.76") and periscope telephoto lens (JN5, 1/2.75", OIS) with 3x optical and 60x digital zoom. The front camera is also 50 MP with support for macro shooting from 10 cm. The 5150 mAh battery supports 65 W fast charging and 15 W wireless charging.

The new device features an updated Glyph Matrix, a compact LED dot-matrix display on the back that replaces the light bars of previous models. It displays notifications in the form of emojis or simple images, and also supports Glyph Toys, including games like Rock-Paper-Scissors and Bottle Cap.

The smartphone has IP68 protection, stereo speakers, NFC, eSIM and an optical fingerprint scanner in the display. There is also a new Essential Key button on the side, which opens access to the Essential Space AI assistant for screenshot analysis, meeting transcription and universal search.

Nothing Phone (3) runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.2, will have 5 years of OS updates (up to Android 20) and 7 years of security updates.

The smartphone will cost €799 for the 12GB + 256GB version and €899 for the 16GB + 512GB. Pre-orders will open on July 4, and sales will begin on July 15 through the official Nothing website and partners.
