Nothing has announced a set of participants to test the first beta version of Nothing OS 4.0 on Phone (3) smartphones. This build will run on Android 16, include all the built-in features of the new system from Google, and will also receive an updated design system that should provide a more consistent interface in the future.
Those interested in participating in the program must complete the registration form by August 5, 2025. Selected users will receive instructions via email within a week of submitting their application. Beta testing will run from August to early September.
The conditions for participation include daily use of Phone (3), willingness to provide regular feedback, adherence to security standards, and understanding that beta versions may contain bugs and inactive features. It is recommended to regularly back up your device.
The company warns that the current version of the firmware with Android 16 is still in the early stages of development, and some features may be unavailable or unstable.
Recall that Nothing Phone (3) is the company's new flagship, which was introduced on July 1 along with the first full-size headphones Nothing Headphone (1). Both new products are already officially sold in Ukraine.
