Ahead of the I/O 2025 conference, Google released a mobile version of NotebookLM for Android and iOS. Until now, the service was only accessible via a browser.
NotebookLM is an AI tool that helps you work with complex information, creating summaries and allowing you to ask questions of sources. The mobile version has added support for Audio Overviews, automatically generated podcasts based on downloaded materials that can be listened to offline and in the background.
Users can create new notebooks, view saved ones, and attach websites, PDFs, or YouTube videos via the standard Share menu. The app supports light and dark themes based on device settings.
New details about NotebookLM may be announced during the Google I/O conference, which will take place on May 21.
