Netflix is releasing a series about Scooby-Doo and his friends. The show will tell the story from the very beginning, about how the friends met and became an inseparable team of mystery-tellers.
During their last summer at Camp Ruby Spurs, old friends Shaggy and Daphne become embroiled in a terrifying mystery involving a lone lost Great Dane puppy who witnesses a supernatural murder. Together with pragmatic city dweller Velma and strange but very lovable newcomer Fred, they set out to solve a case that plunges each of them into a terrifying nightmare.
The series will be shown by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg. Their production company, Midnight Radio, has been around for many years and has been involved in the creation of such famous films and series as From, Venom, and Gone in 60 Seconds. The cast of the series is not yet known.
