NAVI Junior, the junior team of the famous Ukrainian organization, defeated OG in the decisive qualifying match and advanced to the main Dota 2 tournament of the year – The International 2025.
The team began its journey with open qualifiers, and after moving to the closed stage, it confidently advanced to the finals in the upper bracket, defeating Yellow Sumbarine, Nigma Galaxy, and 1win Team.
In a few months, NAVI Junior will head to Hamburg, Germany, for The International 2025, which will take place from September 4th to 14th, where a total of 16 teams will gather to compete for at least $1.6 million.
Unfortunately, NAVI Junior, which, with the exception of Kyrgyz Zayc, is entirely Ukrainian, will have to compete with a large number of Russians. The tournament will feature teams such as Paravision, BetBoom, Team Spirit, and Aurora Gaming, which are almost entirely Russian, and, in some cases, Ukrainians who are comfortable with this arrangement.
By the way, even before The International 2025, the NAVI Junior team will participate in another large-scale esports tournament — Esports World Cup 2025, which will take place from July 8 to 17.
