Logitech MX Creative Console gets new features for Lightroom, Figma, and Final Cut Pro
Logitech has introduced a major update to its MX Creative Console, expanding the panel's capabilities with several new creative apps. In particular, the console now supports Adobe Lightroom and Figma, The Verge reports.
Also, a console software update, which is now available in the Logi Marketplace, adds "powerful new integrations and expanded functionality for Final Cut Pro."
Logitech is also working with Adobe on new Lightroom plug-ins that will allow you to align images with the simple flip of a switch on the MX Creative Console, and the keyboard’s LCD buttons can be customized to quickly rate and mark up photos.
Figma plugins use the keypad to speed up tasks like text alignment, spacing, and layout adjustments, while the console dial allows you to change text size and thickness.
Logitech released the MX Creative Console in October 2024 for $199. The company immediately released a set of plug-ins for a number of Adobe programs, including Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Lightroom Classic. The new update also adds support for DaVinci Resolve and Affinity Photo.
“We have heard from the community that the MX Creative Console not only speeds up their workflow, but has increased their productivity and made work easier. Adding these highly requested plugins will unlock the MX Creative Console’s potential for a broader range of creative professionals,” said Anatoly Polyanker, general manager of Logitech’s MX division.
