The Ministry of Digital Transformation will open RoboLab robotics laboratories in educational institutions
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is launching the RoboLab project, which will create modern robotics laboratories at Ukrainian universities. The first of them is scheduled to be operational in Kyiv in 2025.
RoboLab will be a space where students and teachers will be able to work with real equipment, use artificial intelligence and 3D modeling software, create and test robot prototypes, and collaborate with business and the scientific community. According to the organizers, this will allow them to turn innovative project ideas into ready-made technological solutions while still studying.
The organizers are currently looking for a university in Kyiv for the pilot launch. The institution must have specialized educational programs that are more than two years old, provide premises and specialists to launch the laboratory, and be ready to develop a technical ecosystem.
Educational institutions from other cities can also register to participate in the next stages of the project.
RoboLab is implemented by the Association of Robotics and Automated Systems at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The project is supported by the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, the technology company Ajax Systems, and Deus Robotics.
