One of the first companies in the field of AI image generation, Midjourney, has introduced its new V7 model. It is currently available in alpha version by subscription.
The V7 is the first model to have personalization enabled by default. Before you can start using the model, you need to evaluate around 200 images to create a Midjourney “personalization” profile. This profile customizes the model to your individual visual preferences.
V7 is available in two versions — Turbo (more expensive to use) and Relax, and also includes a new tool called Draft Mode, which renders images 10 times faster and half the cost of Standard Mode. Drafts are lower quality compared to Standard Mode images, but can be quickly improved or reworked.
Some of Midjourney's standard features are currently unavailable in V7, including image scaling and retexturing. These features are expected to be available within the next two months.
