Microsoft integrates Copilot into Samsung TVs and monitors from 2025
Microsoft has announced the launch of its Copilot voice assistant on Samsung TVs and smart monitors, starting with 2025 models, The Verge reports. The new functionality is available on devices with the Tizen OS operating system, including through the Samsung Daily Plus and Click to Search interfaces.
Copilot is an animated character, a light beige blob that moves across the screen and synchronizes mouth movements with voice responses. Users can activate the assistant with a voice command or by pressing the microphone button on the remote control.
The assistant provides movie recommendations, spoiler-free synopsis of episodes, and answers general questions. Once signed in to your Microsoft account, Copilot can take into account your previous requests and personal preferences.
The integration covers Samsung Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro and The Frame TVs, as well as the M7, M8 and M9 monitors.
Microsoft previously announced plans to launch Copilot on LG TVs, but the feature is currently only available on Samsung devices.
