Microsoft has announced the beta launch of its new gaming assistant, Copilot for Gaming, now available on mobile devices. The intelligent companion is designed to help players navigate difficult moments in video games by providing strategy and control recommendations.
Copilot for Gaming allows users to ask questions about gameplay, get advice on game tactics, and request recommendations for new games using both text and voice. It can also provide information about a player's achievements, game history, and Xbox subscriptions.
"The companion knows what game you’re playing and understands your Xbox activity, so it can answer any questions about the games you’re interested in, provide links to more information when its response includes web sources, or answer questions based on your account, play history and achievements," Microsoft said in a statement.
The launch of the mobile version of Copilot for Gaming aims to make the gameplay more interactive by allowing players to use the app as a second screen while playing on Xbox.
The Copilot for Gaming beta is currently available through the Xbox app beta in over 50 regions, including Ukraine, and is available for download for both Android and iOS users.
Microsoft also says it will soon launch a beta version of Copilot for Gaming for Game Bar on Windows PCs, with broader access to the full version of the app for Xbox planned in the future.
