Microsoft releases Copilot 3D for creating 3D models from images
Microsoft has introduced Copilot 3D, a new tool that can convert images into 3D models that can be played, printed, or embedded into your projects.
According to the company, users will only need one image to create a 3D object. This does not require any additional skills in using complex 3D modeling software - just Copilot 3D.
Microsoft says the 3D models created can be easily integrated into games, animation, 3D printing, design, virtual and augmented reality, digital content, and any other project. The tool also offers access to a library of curated images that can help you generate ideas faster.
Copilot 3D supports uploading in GLB format, which is compatible with most 3D model viewers, design tools, and game engines. Created models will also be stored in your personal profile for 28 days.
Copilot 3D is currently available exclusively through Copilots Labs, but is available to anyone with a Microsoft account.
