Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater gets new trailer and PC system requirements
During the State of Play broadcast, Konami showed off a new gameplay trailer for the remake of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. The video shows off stealth, camouflage, and boss battles. It also marks the return of the Snake vs Monkey minigame, which will be available on PC and PS5.
The studio also recently released the game's opening scene - the iconic sequence with Snake landing in the jungle, recreated on Unreal Engine 5.
Metal Gear Solid Δ retains the plot of the original game, but the controls have been updated - players have access to both the classic scheme and the modern one. The graphics have been significantly improved: the developers promise realistic facial expressions of the characters, visible pores, wrinkles and eye movement. The project is being developed by Virtuos Studio, which previously helped with Oblivion Remastered.
The game will be released on August 28, 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The system requirements page is already available on Steam:
