MAINGEAR introduces a retro PC in the 90s style
American custom PC manufacturer MAINGEAR has introduced the Retro95 — a 90s-style horizontal computer with modern components that are enough for both nostalgia for old games and the most modern and demanding projects.
In the maximum configuration, the Retro95 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D or Intel Core Ultra 245K processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, and an 8 TB Gen4 NVMe SSD.
But the most important thing is the case itself, which houses all these components. Made in the style of old horizontal ports, the Retro95 has an optional Internal 24x Optical Drive, disguised as one of the floppy disk slots. The second such slot hides a set of ports, including a headphone jack, a USB-C port and two USB-A.
Like every other MAINGEAR PC, the Retro95 is hand-built by a single master technician and stress-tested for performance and reliability.
MAINGER Retro95 will be released in limited quantities and will cost from $1,599 for the minimum configuration with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 and AMD Ryzen 5 9600X.
