Hangar 13 has released a new trailer for Mafia: The Old Country and announced a release date of August 8, 2025. In addition, the game is now available for pre-order. It costs $49 (1999 UAH in Ukraine).
The gameplay trailer showcased a number of interesting elements. Players will have access to a wide arsenal of firearms and authentic vehicles from the time. The game will also feature knife duels and the ability to ride horses for faster movement.
The studio notes that Mafia: The Old Country will allow players to feel like an anti-hero from the early 20th century and experience Enzo's intense journey into the criminal underworld of Sicily. In this classic linear crime story, the main character will have to deal with unpredictable allies and ruthless enemies to immerse himself in the dangerous world of the Mediterranean.
The developers also talked about the project in a little more detail in a separate 7-minute video.
Mafia: The Old Country will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In addition to the regular version, a Deluxe Edition is also available for pre-order, which will add more bonuses, including cosmetic items and weapons. There will also be a bonus for pre-ordering.
