Kawasaki presented the Corleo robotic motorcycle horse with a hydrogen engine that can jump mountains

The Japanese company Kawasaki presented the Corleo robot horse concept at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. This conceptual device is designed to move in difficult conditions, such as mountains, forests, and areas with complex natural terrain.

The Corleo is equipped with a 150cc hydrogen engine and artificial intelligence that analyzes the position in space and ensures stability. Thanks to this, the driver feels harmony between himself and the car, similar to the interaction of a rider with a horse.

The robot horse has four robotic legs, the back of which can move independently of the front ones, which allows for smooth movements when walking or running. This allows Corleo to overcome various obstacles, snowy rocks and even perform small jumps. All four legs are equipped with "hooves" with special rubber that effectively absorbs surface irregularities and has high slip resistance.

Control is carried out by shifting the driver's weight, which is recorded by special steps and a steering wheel. The instrument panel displays route data, hydrogen level and other important information. At night, the robot projects light markers onto the road, helping to navigate in the dark.

For now, the Corleo remains a concept model that Kawasaki plans to implement by 2050.
