JBL has introduced two updated speakers: Charge 6 and Flip 7. Both models have received AI Sound Boost technology and are now available for pre-order.
The JBL Flip 7 features improved bass and updated dome tweeters for clearer highs. Plus, AI Sound Boost automatically optimizes sound for a better listening experience.
In addition, the speaker has received up to 14 hours of music playback on a single charge, or up to 16 hours with Playtime Boost technology enabled, and it will take 2.5 hours to fully charge. In addition, it has received Bluetooth 5.4 and support for lossless audio transmission via USB-C. The Flip 7 is also protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
The JBL Charge 6, like its predecessor, features AI Sound Boost technology, improved sound clarity and deeper bass thanks to an updated woofer. In addition, Auracast technology allows you to combine stereo sound and connect multiple speakers to create a wider soundstage.
The JBL Charge 6 also supports lossless audio playback via USB-C, is IP68 water and dust resistant, and offers up to 27 hours of listening time on a single charge, with the option to get an additional four hours with Playtime Boost. In addition, the speaker has a built-in battery that allows you to charge your smartphone directly from it.
The JBL Flip 6 costs $149.95, and the JBL Charge 6 costs $199.95. Both speakers will begin shipping on April 6, 2025, in one of six colors: black, blue, red, white, purple, or camouflage. It is not yet known when the new products will appear in Ukraine and how much they will cost.
