In Canada, salaries are also higher than in Europe, but still lower than in the USA. 24% of Ukrainians in Canada earn over $6,000 "net", and 6% - over $10,000.

As for Europe, the highest "net" salaries are in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Croatia and Slovakia. About 20% of IT professionals in these countries earn more than $6,000. In Germany, Romania, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, between 9% and 14% earn more than $6,000.

Newcomers in the IT field who are lucky can count on a salary of $1,000, which is how much 10% of specialists with up to a year of experience earn. Abroad, these 10% have $2,000 or more. Among experienced specialists, the difference is smaller, but at the same time, in Ukraine, the highest-paid employees with over 5 years of experience earn 15% less than abroad.

Starting salaries in non-technical areas can be higher than in technical ones. In particular, in Ukraine, the highest-paid non-technical specialists with up to a year of experience earn from $1,200. With experience, this situation changes, because after three years, technical specialists in Ukraine have salaries that are one third higher than those of non-technical specialists.
