Apple will not make any noticeable changes to the design of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, according to an insider
Apple, according to the latest data, does not plan significant changes in the design of its flagship models iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, which are due to be released later this year. Previously, it was expected that the new devices would receive a two-tone back panel and an updated camera unit, but these assumptions were refuted.
According to insider Mark Gurman (via 9to5mac), the design of the new smartphones will remain similar to previous models, without a two-tone design or a reduced size of the "dynamic island". The main camera module will be the same color as the device's body, indicating Apple's gradual approach to changes.
As for the renders that appeared earlier, it is speculated that Apple could have been experimenting with a new design but decided not to implement it for some reason.
However, Gurman also mentioned that more radical changes to the iPhone will happen in 2027, when the smartphone will be 20 years old. He said that both a foldable and a "bold new Pro model" will be released.
